SSO Integration within Entra Application

This step can not be completed before the "Creating the Application in Entra" has been completed.

Setup SSO Steps

From a fresh login to Microsoft Entra;

select Enterprise Apps in the left menu.

Select the App by the name that you just created, in our example given “Sensium Connect Plus”

Select “Single Sign On” in the second left menu.

Select “SAML”

In “1 Basic SAML Configuration”, edit this and add an “Identifier (Entity ID)”. This can be anything you want it to be, it is a random string. We recommend using something that refers to Sensium Connect, for example, “https://connect.sensium.com.au”S

Enter https://connect.sensium.net/__/auth/handler as the Reply URL (Assertion Consumber Service URL) Save those items.

Note, depending on the configuration of your account, we may need to have you change the Reply URL later.

Provide the Sensium OnBoarding Specialist with:

• From 3: The Base 64 certificate.

• From 4: - Microsoft Entra Identifier - The list of domains that your users login as. We do not require all of your domains, only the primary domains utilised by your Microsoft user accounts.

Once Sensium has configured your account back end, we will provide you with our Auto Login URL, which is placed in the “Sign on URL (Optional)" in portion 1 of the Basic SAML Configuration.

Once this is all done, the SSO connection should be complete, and will now require roles and users to be configured.
