How to use your Remote Duress Pendant
Firmware version: 1.1.6
Please ensure pendant is turned on before use
To turn the pendant on, press and hold the power button located on the side of the pendant until the Status LED lights solid BLUE for 3 seconds – the pendant is now on, and alerts can be sent. The pendant will also flash yellow or green three times as it sends a check in message.
To turn the pendant off, press and hold the power button located on the side of the pendant until Status LED flashes RED 3 times – the pendant is now OFF.
ALERTS CANNOT BE SENT WHEN TURNED OFF.
To activate a Duress Alert, press red button once.
Once the red button is pressed, the pendant will send a duress message every minute, for 10 minutes.
The status LED will flash red for the duration of the repeating message cycle.
As a Duress Alert is being sent the LED will flash 3 times:
yellow - device has no GNSS fix
green - device has GNSS fix
The pendant will vibrate when each message is sent.
Ensure direct line of sight with your vehicle to improve the message being received, and your vehicle has line of sight to the sky.
To stop the repeating duress message from being sent, press and hold the red button for 5 seconds.
Battery low alert The red LED will flash once every 10s when the battery level is less than 10%
Check-in report Check-in reporting is performed automatically, once every 24 hours. This is to update the battery level and location of the duress pendant at the platform.
Charging Use only the provided USB-C charging cable.
