Add a new fleet

Turn on 'admin view' before creating a new Fleet.

What do I need to know before I make a fleet?

Before you create a new fleet, you need to know a couple of items:

1: Which department/section of the business is this fleet for?

2: Which physical location is this fleet going to be used for?

3: Optional - Should the vehicles in this fleet be available for someone to book in Pool Vehicle Booking if our company is using it?

From here, a typical naming convention would be something like; For none Pool Fleets: "<Department> - <Location>" For Pool Fleets: "<Department> - <Location> - Pool" Remember, an asset/vehicle can only ever belong to a single fleet at a single point in time. Assets/Vehicles can very easily be moved from one fleet to another, they are NOT locked into the first fleet you choose for them.

How To Add the New Fleet

From the "Fleets" page, select the 'Add Fleet' button, to the top right of the screen.

Name your new Fleet - Check out our typical naming conventions above to see the best way to name a fleet.

Click on "Save Fleet" when you have entered all of the details.
